A head teachers perspective on S&C

Ed Archer with Nick Dyer

Ed Archer has over 20 years of experience working in strength and conditioning with a wide range of athletes, from professional rugby and Formula One to youth and performing arts. Ed is renowned for his work in promoting youth strength and conditioning; with Nick he has also created innovative solutions to athlete development in the school. Nick became the headmaster of The Crypt School in Gloucester in 2015, whereupon he created a new vision for the school, allowing it to become both a leading co-educational selective school and also to work collaboratively with other schools, to improve educational outcomes in the city. Nick will provide insights into both drivers and limitations of the integration of strength and conditioning into the state school setting.
