Wearable Resistance Training (WRT): The Future is Light
This session challenges the use of traditional methods for strength and power gains in sport and posits that light variable resistance attached to the body is a better method to ensure transference of strength/power gains that are movement and sport specific. The benefit and applications of WRT are discussed in a number of areas from mechanical and metabolic to skill acquisition and injury prevention
